Talladega College is Hiring an Assistant Cheer, Dance, & Acrobatics and Tumbling Coach Near Talladega, AL
- Recruit student-athletes according to Talladega College and NAIA/NCAA
- Assists in preparing events and practices.
- Must utilize ethics in coaching techniques and in injury prevention.
- Assists with recruiting and fundraising for the teams
- Game Day setup and breakdown
- Cooperates with other staff to ensure that the student-athlete is provided with services to succeed academically and personally.
- Maintains good relationships with alumnus, officials, parents, volunteers, and fans.
- Oversee the strength and conditioning programs of our student athletes in and out of season within the head coaches’ guidelines.
- Performs other duties as requested by the Head Coach.
- Weekend work, irregular hours, travel, and physical demands are required for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, technique progressions of the sport.
- Proven coaching or playing experience in the assigned sport, Cheerleading or Gymnastics.
- Ability to recruit and retain student-athletes.
