Full Time - Outpatient Clinic
A speech-language pathologist (SLP), also known as a speech therapist, is a health professional who diagnoses and treats communication and swallowing problems. They work with both children and adults of all ages in clinics, schools, and hospitals. They can help those who have developmental disorder, neurological condition, or brain injury that affects the ability to communicate with other people. They also can help those who have trouble eating or drinking safely due to swallowing issues.
Job Description
Provide life-changing treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication, eating, drinking and swallowing. You'll help people who, for physical or psychological reasons, have problems speaking and communicating.
Patients may be able to perform other activities but need speech therapy. Part of your responsibilities may be to educate staff on the value of speech therapy
Must be in possession of current SLPA certificate on or before the first day of employment.
CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License
Education, Training and Experience:
Experience is preferred but not required.
