Talento Search Group has an opening for a Machine Operator in Birmingham, Alabama. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is $16-17 per hour, depending on experience.

This position averages about 60 hours per week, so there is a lot of overtime.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Ability to successfully operate equipment (mills slitters and other machines)

Keeping the lines of communication open with the supervisor, production and quality personnel during difficult situations

Perform clean up and housekeeping duties daily

Complete all necessary paperwork

Forklift experience is preferred

Experience Needed :

High School Diploma or equivalency

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Basic to intermediate computer skills

Must be a team player, self-starter, flexible and detail oriented

Ability to work overtime as needed

Must be able to speak and write in English fluently

Must be able to climb, lift, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
