Talento Search Group has an opening for a Multicraft Maintenance Technician in the Birmingham, Alabama. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is $31.50-35.50 per hour.

Position Summary:
The maintenance technician is responsible for maintaining the manufacturing areas and to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment and general building maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot all production equipment
• Manage all machine uptime and downtime
• Perform repairs on pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, machine rebuilds, welding and fabrication
• Perform general building maintenance

Experience Needed:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Strong skill-sets in industrial mechanical and some electrical repairs
• PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred
• Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance is a plus
• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Ability to work overtime
