Talento Search Group has an opening for a Continuous Improvement Engineer in the Morton Grove, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position and the salary range is $110,000-130,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide process design and suggest improvements for manufacturing
• Increase productivity and reduce manufacturing costs
• Manage a number of projects
• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems
• Meet KPI's for project cost and completion date
• Install, design, and commission new production units
• Supervise equipment installation
• Manage cost/budget and time constraints
• Perform ROI analysis on proposed production improvements

Experience Needed:

• At least 10 years of engineering experience, with 5 of those years in the food industry
• Experience with stainless piping is preferred
• Strong project management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of process controllers like Siemens or Allen Bradley
