Branch Client Adviser / Teller

Location : Palo Alto, CA 94301 100% onsite

Duration : 6 months

Start : ASAP

  • Provides client support including general banking transactions, operational issues, and / or bank office support.
  • Will receive requests from various channels, including face-to-face, email, phone, or internal business partners.
  • Utilizes knowledge or resources to resolve moderately complex issues, escalates complex non-routine problems.

In-Branch Client Support :

  • Greeting all branch customers with exceptional customer service and handling reception duties for customers meeting with other internal partners.
  • Processing of deposits / cashing checks.
  • Placing holds.
  • Completing Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs).
  • Processing payments.
  • Fulfilling cashier check requests.
  • Other common Bank Teller duties.
  • Processing courier bags with client cash deposits.

Back Office Client Support :

  • Reviewing inquiry and formulating response or implementing action to resolve which may result in inquiry being resolved during initial contact or may perform additional research, problem solving, or escalation to other internal partners.
  • Processing mail, payments, check orders.
  • Fraud monitoring and escalation.
  • Scanning transactions at the end of the day.

Relationship Advisor requests :

  • Requests for Cashier’s Check.
  • Arranging appointments.
  • Researching items including ensuring necessary funds are available for a withdrawal.
  • Verifying signatures.

Qualifications :

  • Customer service experience.
  • Previous experience as a teller, bank branch, or in a banking operations role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations.
