CNC Lathe Machinist
Pay: $25/hr - $35/hr
Shift: 1st Shift (4:00am – 4:00pm M-F & 6:00am – 12:00pm Saturday if needed)
Location: Waterford, MI
Job Description-
- Responsible for unfinished parts and transforming them into finished, machined products under the direction of the Machine Shop Foreman
- Operate/Set-up/Program at the machine; 2 axis Lathes
- Review drawings, instructions, and blueprints
- Produce machined parts by programming, set-up, and proving out the program
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Layout and verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring tools such as Micrometers, Dial Bore Gages, Dial Calipers, and Dial Indicators
- Assist and train other employees
Qualifications-
- Familiarity with Okuma and Mori Seiki machines
- 3 years of experience setting up and programming CNC Lathes
- Ability to bore jaws
- Knowledge of GT&D symbols
- Own basic precision tools such as Micrometers, Dial Indicators, and Dial Calipers
- HS Diploma or equivalent
