Talent Strategy is partnering with a well known company within the Grand Rapids area that manufactures a wide variety of products used in the production of office and healthcare furniture for the past 30 years. Together we are in search of a Shipping/Receiving clerk with the following requirements/abilities listed below.

The Shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. This role involves coordinating shipments, verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing products, and ensuring accurate inventory records.

Shipping and Receiving Duties/Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing lists.
• Maintaining organized records of all transactions, including shipping logs and inventory reports.
• operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• preparing and packaging outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping standards.

Requirements to be considered:

• excellent organization skills
• attention to detail
• experience with forklift/Hilo Minimum of 2 years
• ability to work in a fast paced environment
• familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred
• great communication skills
