Full Job Description:

• The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting R&D efforts for the development of bioprocessing equipment.
• This position demands a strong technical aptitude and comprehension of various components including P&ID's, vessels, piping systems, instrumentation, controls, and heating/cooling mechanisms.
• Responsibilities include the safe assembly, operation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems is required for tasks such as creating Bills of Materials (BOM's) and executing Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).
• The engineer will be responsible for crafting purchase specifications for equipment, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance standards within the bioprocessing equipment industry.
• They will also be tasked with the creation and implementation of test protocols and detailed reports.
• Direct experience with heating and cooling equipment is highly desired.
• Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in relevant areas.
