A Day In the Life Of

As a Dental Assistant at Dyer Family Dentistry, you’ll be an integral part of our patient care team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the dentist during procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
• Taking patient X-rays
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintaining accurate patient records

What You'll Bring To The Table

• High school diploma/GED
• Proven experience as a dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing(required) 
• Excellent communication, computer, and people skills
• Attention to detail, well-organized and reliable
• Additional certification or training is an asset
• Dental X-Ray Certification
