Talent Consultant Group is Hiring a Construction Administrator Near Jacksonville, FL

Talent Consultant Group is partnered with a design firm who is looking to add a Construction Administrator to their growing Jacksonville team. The ideal candidate has a background in the construction or architecture design industry with an emphasis on architectural design and/or construction administration. 

Throughout its 50-year history, our client has successfully delivered projects of all sizes and scopes throughout the Southeastern United States and abroad. As a practice, they strive to provide clients with professional design services in the most efficient and expeditious manner possible. They believe that a successful project achieves our clients’ vision and fulfills the needs of the people who use and work within the environments we create. Innovation and aesthetics lead our design, bringing harmony to exterior and interior spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with architects, designers, and contractors during the conception, design and construction administration phase.
  • Architectural drawing review and interpretation with the Project Architect
  • Review of construction submittals with the Project Architect to ensure compliance with the Contract Documents.
  • RFI intake and coordination of responses
  • Tracking of RFI’s and construction submittals and coordination with owner representatives, subconsultants, and contractors.
  • Attendance at Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings during construction
  • Field observation services including photo documentation of the progress of construction and/or construction not in compliance with the Contract Documents
  • Creation of Field Reports based on field observations

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience in Architecture Design or Construction Administration
  • Ability to multitask while managing and prioritizing deadlines of multiple projects
  • Possess a high level of professionalism with strong verbal and written communication skills that are demonstrated throughout being highly motivated, positive, and a self-starter
  • Proficiency in Revit, MasterSpec, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam is a plus.
