GAT offers a wide range of employee benefits to include major medical, 401K Plan, Dental, and Vision coverage. Classification: Variable Hour, Non-Exempt Job SummaryCabin Appearance Lead is first and foremost responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for the entire crew while properly safeguarding the aircraft and the flights performance. By supporting Cabin Appearance Agent's professional development, this role ensures that Cabin Appearance Agents are knowledgeable about aircraft cleaning operations related GAT policies and procedures to ensure excellent customer service and on time flight performance. Leads work with Supervisors and other leaders on staffing supporting regular and irregular operations, and may provide training to Cabin Appearance Agents as necessary.Job DutiesLeads must report to work on a regular and timely basis.Ensures Cabin Appearance Agents are in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ready to perform dutiesProvides input on operational improvements and efficienciesReports operational feedback for flight cleaning quality and performance to leadershipAddresses security related issues to leadership, is responsible for meetingsAble to perform under pressure and within fixed time constraintsEnsure Ramp Agents are adhering to our uniform standardsPerform cosmetic arrangement of seat belts, headrests, etc.Helps prepare cabin for Customer boarding and departure, which can include cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys and lavatoriesCleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys and lavatories.Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications and cleaning must be highly detailed and specific to ensure all areas are completely free of dirt, debris, marks, fingerprints, etc.Assist Ramp agents when Cabin Cleaning is complete.Load and unload passenger baggage and/or freight and cargo to/from aircraft bins, bag carts, and/or conveyor belts.Transports loaded bags and/or freight and cargo to/from aircraft and/or airport terminalsDrives and/or operates ground support equipmentPerforms FOD walks in the ramp area between flightsMarshals aircrafts during arrival and departuresEnsures necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flightsRead and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tagsFollows and complies with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier rules and regulationsAdheres to company policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Must possess computer experience (6 months) and knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to navigate electronic devices (computers, fax machines, printers, timeclock, etc).A proven track record in supervising a business unit.Experience in operational planning and resource allocation.A working knowledge of GSE maintenance issues.Experience and understanding of the commercial issues in aviation.Must have a High School diploma, GEDMust be at least 18 years of ageCapable of processing information in a timely mannerMust have and maintain a Valid Driver's LicenseAble to proficiently speak, read, and write in EnglishBasic computer literacyPrevious ramp or airline experienceMust successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employmentMust clear a FBI fingerprint background checkPhysical RequirementsMust be physically fit to perform duties of the job including but not limited to standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of timeCapable of repetitively lifting up to 70 pounds in confined spaces and repetitivelyMust be physically fit to perform the duties of the jobWilling to work outside in all types of weather conditions with exposure to loud noisesSpecific Working HoursMust be able and flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holiday specific shifts to be determinedMust be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operationsGAT Airline Ground Support, as an equal opportunity employer, makes hiring decisions based on business needs and the best-qualified candidates available and does not discriminate in its employment decisions on the basis of any protected category.
