We are searching for a Sr. Controls Engineer in Richardson, TX .

• Proficiency with Siemens PCS7 platform architecture.
• Would be directly responsible for field based troubleshooting and resolution of software and hardware issues.
• Must possess good communication skills, work well on a team and be comfortable in a fast paced environment.
• Ensure projects and systems are compliant with applicable codes, cost effective and meet the desired design criteria while adhering to budget and schedule guidelines
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair control systems and instrumentation including a variety of flow, pressure, temperature, pH and water quality monitoring equipment
• Troubleshoot and program programmable logic control systems including PLC hardware, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and I/O interface modules
• Be available to provide technical support for the 24-hour operations team
• Ability to understand process equipment, operating parameters and make decisions with engineering support to improve or maintain the associated controls and instrumentation hardware & software
• Develop and review operations and maintenance procedures/programs with the team to ensure use of best practices
• Influence supplier performance via management and audits of work performed in the field
• Innovate and implement cost reduction projects that reduce operating and maintenance cost of responsible systems
