The accountant (Accounts Payable / Project Accountant) is responsible for construction overhead accounting and project related accounting, which include project set-up, invoicing, payments to subcontractors and vendors, and coordinating with the project team on financial matters.

Prior construction accounting experience preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret typical business and accounting correspondence and financial reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to understand accounting concepts such as job costing, progress billing, overhead, change orders, etc. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of accounting concepts.
To perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to understand construction accounting, master the construction billing process, and effectively use the following computer programs within a reasonable amount of time:
