We have an exciting opportunity for a Bartender to join our rapidly growing company. Come join us at Tailwind Hospitality at Huntsville International Airport . Tailwind is a national airport concessionaire that provides food, beverage, and retail at 42 locations across the country. An experienced Bartender with a positive attitude and excellent people skills will help us achieve our goal of providing friendly service and top-quality offerings to enhance the traveler’s experience. We are currently seeking to hire a part-time Bartender, who is 21 years of age and has reliable transportation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Welcome each guest in a timely manner.
• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs set forth by the Tailwind Management Company.
• Work as a member of the team to ensure success in all areas of the restaurant.
• Fill in where needed to ensure that service standards and efficient operations are met.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe work environment at all times.
• ID every customer who orders an alcoholic beverage.
• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes.
• Ring drink and/or food orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change.
• Use jigger for all pours.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Strong customer service skills
• Bartending experience
• Knowledge of food safety protocol
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Food service experience
• Proficiency in basic math

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a background check to receive an airport badge (If you have a felony, you will not be able to pass.)

Salary: $10.00 per hour
