Schedule : 1st Shift, Tues Sat, 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM, Overtime Required
Pay Rate : $18.57 / hr. on W2
Duration : 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Requirements : Valid Driver's License
Description :
Seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler to join a leading biotechnology company in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities include warehouse operations, such as equipment operation, shipping, receiving, and inventory management, in compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities :
Perform warehouse tasks according to standard procedures, ensuring timely distribution of materials.
Operate powered industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
Maintain safety standards and report hazards promptly.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED required.
1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a GMP environment.
Proficiency in Lean principles and continuous improvement.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
Physical Requirements :
Good near visual acuity and ability to work with machinery and equipment.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and during emergencies.
