Job Overview:
Tahoe Pops is seeking a highly motivated Demonstrator to join our team. We are a small local business which produces high quality, fresh fruit and ice cream popsicles in South Lake Tahoe. As a Demonstrator, you will be responsible for promoting and showcasing our products or services to potential customer by giving out samples to customers. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with customers, demonstrate product features, and drive sales. Responsibilities:
- Conduct product demonstrations at various locations, such as retail stores, grocery stores, & events.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Showcase product features and benefits to generate interest and drive sales
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Utilize social media platforms to promote products and engage with potential customers
- Assist with event marketing activities, including setup and teardown of displays
- Collect data on customer feedback, preferences, and market trends
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with diverse audiences
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred
- Familiarity with social media is a plus
- Ability to confidently speak in public and interact with customers in an engaging way
- Food service experience is desirable but not required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time during product demonstrations (3 hours)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the demo locations, some up to 2 hours away.
