Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and objectives, and participate in the review of software design documents and user stories.

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional aspects of the software.

Execute manual and automated tests to verify the functionality, performance, usability, and security of web-based applications, e-commerce platforms, and custom software solutions.

Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking systems, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Conduct regression testing to validate software changes and updates, ensuring that existing functionality remains intact and that new features meet quality standards.

Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and usability issues, providing valuable feedback to improve the overall user experience of our software products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and product owners, to communicate test results, prioritize defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools, and actively participate in knowledge sharing and learning activities within the QA team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related roles, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit) and proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is preferred.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide detailed and actionable feedback.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
