Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.-Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.-Manages care of patients.-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.-Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills & Experience:-Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required.-Must have a strong MS/Tele background.Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/A BLS-AHA
NIHSS
RN LICENSE 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Every Other Weekend Required.
Holidays- As Needed.
No on Call.
13 Week assignment.
2 Years of MedSurg Experience- Required.
BLS-aha and NIHSS cert-Required.
Remote Telemetry Experience-Highly Preferred.
Unit-2 East/Post Op, GI, GU, Medical Patients.
RN will float to other Units as Needed.
Patient Ratio- 6:1 but can increase.

Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer.
Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority
