Tacombi is looking for a New Market Hospitality Concierge to join our team!

Born on the beaches of Mexico, Tacombi is a fast-growing, omni-channel brand that is committed to sharing Mexican food and culture through CPG products, hospitality experiences, community outreach and digital content.

Tacombi began its journey in 2006 as a taco-serving bus on the sands of the Yucatn and now operates 13 taquerias across New York City, Miami, FL and the Greater Washington, D.

C. area. Tacombis first consumer packaged goods brand, Vista Hermosa is sold in 800 stores and is rapidly expanding. We are building out our CPG team with a talented group of foodies, salespeople, marketers and innovators with an entrepreneurial spirit!

Tacombi is seeking a Hospitality Concierge to help us promote Tacombi and generate excitement around our brand and drive traffic to our new Taquerias as we continue our rapid expansion!

The Hospitality Concierge will join as a key member of the Tacombi Marketing team and will be closely integrated with our Taqueria Operations and Staff.

They will act as the ultimate brand ambassador for Tacombi as we continue on our mission to connect people to Mexico with our food, authentic Taqueria experience and unique brand of Mexican hospitality.

As we introduce Tacombi to new markets across the U.S., you will ensure our locations forge strong connections to community around them and that we build local brand awareness.

You will be responsible for community outreach and making one-to-one connections with neighbors, local residents, businesses and organizations to drive traffic into our Taquerias.

You will also work closely with our Taqueria Management, Staff and HQ Marketing team to ensure a seamless, hospitable experience for any new customer that you bring.

This role requires strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, a keen sense of what it means to deliver hospitality and put our customers first, knowledge of our markets (DC, Miami, etc.

an upbeat, positive attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. This role also requires strong organizational skills and business acumen.

What youll do

• Identify and reach out to neighbors, residents, local businesses and organization to drive traffic to Tacombi, including one-to-one interactions
• Bring local residents and office workers into our Taquerias and ensure that they have the best possible experience and will be repeat guests
• Work closely with Marketing Team & Taqueria Management to offer perks and special offers that will drive trial of the Tacombi brand and menu items venture new ideas when needed
• Generate Taqueria revenue for dine-in, events & catering. You will be responsible for delivering the plan monthly.
• Drive events & buy-outs revenue by pitching local business and organizations on Tacombis events offering and mining for creative opportunities to build this part of the business
• Provide a direct line of communication to the HQ Marketing team from on-the-ground at our new restaurants, ensuring they are aware of areas for improvement with our Marketing & Communications programs
• Embody the Tacombi Service Culture and ensure the Tacombi Experience is carried throughout all interactions with guests
• Becomes well-versed in Tacombis brand ethos, menu and event offering, serving as an ambassador of the Tacombi brand everywhere you go

You should have

• Flexible schedule and ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Host / Hostess, Maitre D, Concierge or Promoter
• Have a positive attitude and be passionate about guest service and / or sales
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
• Assertive self-starter - takes initiative and can work well independently
• Knowledge of the local cultural landscape including dining, art, music, film and fashion are huge plus
• Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Tripleseat, Resy or other reservations platforms is a plus
