SUMMARY OF PURPOSE

Our General Managers play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality, culture and food quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspire the team to promote exceptional hospitality, quality and share our love of tacos rooted in Mexican authenticity.
• A strong emphasis on teamwork and hospitality is essential for this position. 
• Work hands-on identifying, prioritizing, and delegating tasks. Lead to your team’s strengths by putting the right people in the right places at the right time.
• Navigate team members through the Tacodeli Career Path.
• Manage financials to ensure a successful restaurant.
• Foster a great relationship with the Kitchen Manager to ensure execution of exceptional food quality. Conduct line checks throughout the day. We are proud to be a scratch kitchen.
• Lead by example to achieve operational excellence in product quality, consistency of execution, speed of service, cleanliness, and guest service.
• Lead recognition and creation of a strong team culture through respectful accountability, collaboration, and effective communication.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

1. Expected to work nights and weekends.
2. Coach/Player - hands on when needed, coaching for success along the way. 
3. Experience hiring, training, setting clear expectations and follow-up.
4. Ability to work cohesively in a team environment as well as perform job functions independently.
