Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Culinary Director. The Assistant Culinary Director will play a key role in supporting the overall of Kingsland Operations Company. Kingsland Operations Company is the operating arm of Hooper's, Junction Prime and The Antler's Inn hotel.
- Assist the Director in overseeing the daily kitchen operations of the organization
- Manage and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support in the kitchens
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Coordinate and oversee food production and kitchen operations
- Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the Dietary Department to ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Support the Director in developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Assist with shift management, including scheduling and ensuring adequate staffing levels
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
