Summary:
Provide technical drawings to construct cellular towers. Use computer software effectively and efficiently to produce finished drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
Produce architectural, structural and building drawings and details on a variety of projects involving both new construction and repair/modifications to existing towers
Demonstrate complete understanding of software and how to apply it to company procedures
Demonstrate understanding of all horizontal/vertical design requirements
Organize construction documents from beginning to end with little to minor direction
Perform specialized work, applying advanced skills
Produce large scale, complex drawings
Demonstrate understanding of codes and regulatory requirements for design
Performs thorough quality control of construction documents
Manages deadlines and prioritizes assignments
Manage overall CAD program, including software maintenance and troubleshooting
Work with architects and engineers to develop and maintain the firm’s CAD standards and detail library
Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:
Employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
Occasionally required to lift or move up to 25 pounds
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing and participate in random testing program
Position requires working in a professional office atmosphere
Must possess valid driver’s license and are required to drive company vehicles

Must be detail-oriented
Must have strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
Must be a team player and possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

This position has no supervisory requirements

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part time position. Less than 30 hours per week.

No travel requirements are expected for this position

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Five to seven years of proven CAD experience required
