Purpose of Position:
To assist Director of Finance in all aspects of the Revenue Audit, Gaming Compliance and Financial Analysis. Ensures the proper reconciliation of revenues and expenses generated by the Casino through the daily audit processes.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Review for completeness and accuracy of all work performed by Revenue Audit.
• Ensure compliance of all gaming regulations and Casino Policy and Procedures.
• Book all revenue and gaming related journal entries.
• Reconcile gaming liabilities held on the balance sheet.
• Perform analysis and trends on property information as directed by Director of Finance. Provide information and assistance for the preparation of any required reports, including hold % variances from Slots, Table Games, and Bingo. Promptly prepare specialized accounting reports on an as-needed basis.
• Review all Exception Reports for Slots, Table Games, Bingo and Food and Beverage before distribution. Follow up on all Exception Reports to ensure adequate responses.
• Maintain proper procedures for record retention of all source documents required by NIGC, the State, IRS and Gaming Commission. Coordinate and provide information requested by Internal Audit, Gaming Compliance or any other agency.
• Active member of the SAR Committee and participate with AML/T31 Program, procedures and filing requirements.
• Recommends improvements for increasing departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain integrity while handling sensitive and confidential situations. Protect the confidentiality of any and all Table Mountain Casino business information.
• Display and practice excellent guest service and communication skills with internal and external guests.
• Responsible for the staffing, training and scheduling of Team Members. Prepares evaluations and issues disciplinary actions when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required, unless waived by Executive Management.
• Requires five (5) years of Auditing and Accounting experience. Two (2) years of management experience in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills required
