  Job Duties
• Service, maintenance, and repairs on all makes and kW sizes of generators
• Inspect, Repair, Service, and Start-Up Load Bank Test Requirements on Equipment
• Troubleshoot all generator components, including engine, alternator, controllers, wiring harnesses, safety devices, battery systems, and cooling systems.
• Start-up and load bank test equipment
• Apply technical skills to identify the Problem and Cause of Failure through Logical Troubleshooting Steps, Determine Corrective Action
• Repair and Troubleshoot Engines such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU, and Volvo, among others
• Complete field service reports (FSR's) daily.
• Requirements
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Clear criminal and driving records
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial power generation sets or similar transferrable skills
• Experience with diesel and natural/LP gas engines, electrical switchgear, and automatic transfer switches
• Must have your own set of general tools
• Use of computers/mobile devices for web-based service & work order system
• Must be physically able to lift 75lbs with no restrictions
