Service, maintenance, and repairs on all makes and kW sizes of generators
Inspect, Repair, Service, and Start-Up Load Bank Test Requirements on Equipment
Troubleshoot all generator components, including engine, alternator, controllers, wiring harnesses, safety devices, battery systems, and cooling systems.
Start-up and load bank test equipment
Apply technical skills to identify the Problem and Cause of Failure through Logical Troubleshooting Steps, Determine Corrective Action
Repair and Troubleshoot Engines such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU, and Volvo, among others
Complete field service reports (FSR's) daily.
Requirements
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Clear criminal and driving records
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial power generation sets or similar transferrable skills
Experience with diesel and natural/LP gas engines, electrical switchgear, and automatic transfer switches
Must have your own set of general tools
Use of computers/mobile devices for web-based service & work order system
Must be physically able to lift 75lbs with no restrictions
Desired Skills
Strong work ethic and the ability to work with little supervision
Strong written and verbal skills (English)
Independent self-starter
Excellent customer relationship skills
OEM Training & Certification a Plus
EGSA Certification a plus
