Job SummaryOur PMCM sector is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist to work on projects of various complexity. Do you want to be part of our project teams that work on high-profile transportation projects? This position will function in supporting compliance of contractual requirements, monitoring document control, and preparing key project performance data. The position will be associated with our Boston office but can also work remotely. Preference for candidate to be located in the Northeast.Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track project performance and regularly communicate with Project Manager, Team Leads and Operations Manager

  • Manage the coordination of subconsultant contracts and financials on projects of various sizes and complexities.

  • Prepare Project Performance data and analysis for Project Manager including, but not limited to, Earned Value, Cost to Complete, Forecast, Burn Rate, Profitability, etc,

  • Assists in the creation, maintenance and control of budgets from proposal to project completion.

  • Supports the development of forecasts, trends and analyzes cost accruals.

  • Identify improvements for project controls, templates and products, and refer ideas to the appropriate line manager.

  • Work with Project Manager to ensure project satisfies contractual requirements, as well as internal Tylin processes and procedures.

  • Assist with mentoring and guiding junior colleagues, developing best practices, demonstration leadership qualities in a senior capacity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Accounting, or Finance preferred with at least 2 years' experience in Project Controls.

  • Experience in contract management, preferably with exposure to subconsultant or subcontractor agreements.

  • Must have strong understanding of document control processes.

  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.

  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.

  • Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
