Program : CENTRAL COAST HOTLINE -Santa Barbara County

Position Summary

The Program Coordinator will coordinate CCH volunteer and staff trainings. Will support the agency’s suicide prevention efforts as needed and appropriate. The coordinator will provide coverage for some CCH shifts answering calls and texts. They will support outreach efforts to promote CCH in Santa Barbara County. The ideal candidate will have education in a human relations or related field; knowledge of best practices for suicide prevention; experience with leading, facilitating; experience with prevention; experience with community education and engagement; strong communication and writing skills; and demonstrate the ability to independently design and lead projects and program activities using a trauma informed approach.

Hours/ Salary

Full-Time, 32 hours per week. Days/Times to be determined (however typical daily schedule will be either noon to 8:00pm and/or 1:00pm - 9:00pm.)

Anticipated hiring wage is $26.00-$29.00 per hour depending on education and/or experience. Includes a generous individual benefits package.
