T. Marzetti Company is Hiring an E2E Planning Manager Near Columbus, OH

Overview

The Manager of End to End Planner is the Business lead and owner responsible for the development and improvement of Supply Plans for high profile portfolios products. The Manager of End to End Planning is a key partner to Commercial, Demand Planning and Operations ensuring supply planning performance through the Monthly Business Planning processes. This person needs to identify and manage exceptions and monitor to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances. They will also manage the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover and distribution costs. Work with our Supply Partners to ensure on-time product availability to meet targeted Case Fill Rate, Working Capital, and Freshness of shipments & Inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with demand and supply chain teams to translate and validate demand plans into supply plans as part of the Monthly Business Planning process to achieve sustainable supply plan accuracy.
  • In accordance with the Monthly Business Planning process, analyze and effectively communicate relevant information; highlight supply issues; propose corrective action and visualize trade-offs. Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive effective processes to reach consensus supply plan.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure that supply is appropriately forecasted and maintained in all circumstances (including pipeline Fill, Cannibalization impact, Discontinuations, and Post Launch Evaluation impact).
  • Analyze and evaluate large-scale supply plan requirements to satisfy customer needs.
  • Meet targeted Supply Planning KPI’s such as Case Fill Rate, Re-Deployment costs, inventory turns/targets, Working Capital, and Freshness of shipments & Inventory.
  • Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks. Establish production requirements for short and long term.
  • Determine key issues with volume variance that may impact supply and communicate to key stakeholders. Implementing improvements to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time savings, increased efficiencies, etc.) - monitoring requirements evolution.
  • Chairs the S&OP/Supply Review Meeting and articulates the supply plans and network performance driving decisions via end-to-end analysis and scenario planning in collaboration with Director of Supply Planning.
  • Close involvement with the Brand on NPD/LTO offerings and execution.
  • Proactively reviews inventory levels to understand and communicate shelf life risks for a portfolio of products.
  • Supports the Budget Planning development and communication with stakeholders.
  • Leads and supports the supply planning team through leadership mentoring, teambuilding, and other skill set development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in the functions across Supply Chain
  • Demonstrable record of success in supply planning, demand planning and/or value chain optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, supply chain, or logistics preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to build sustainable relationships towards customers and other related functions.
  • Can operate effectively in collaborative and directive business environment and able to develop broad, cooperative relationships with a set of diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and processes
  • Organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to take complex data in an easy-to-understand message.
  • Ability to adapt fast and work pragmatically within the various situations and with various individuals/groups.
  • Ability to work and share information with others, e.g., with Operations & Demand Planner, Sales, Logistics, PD, etc.
  • Microsoft Office

Working Conditions/Environment

Works in a normal office environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility. The noise level in the office is quiet. Occasional travel to plants or meetings is required.
