We are currently seeking skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our team in the New York Area. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling a diverse range of products, including outdoor displays, furniture, and installations, to meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to transport and assemble outdoor displays, furniture, and installations at client homes, businesses, and offices, as well as Costco Warehouses.
• Follow manufacturer instructions and guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of various products.
• Ensure all assembled items meet quality standards, structural integrity, and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, provide assistance, and address any concerns.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of assembly materials and tools, and ensure proper organization of workspaces.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in assembly, preferably in retail, residential, commercial, or office settings.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in assembling outdoor displays, furniture, and installations for residential, commercial, or office spaces.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry or construction techniques.
• Familiarity with various types of furniture assembly, including indoor and outdoor furniture.
• Customer service experience and strong communication skills.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $21.83 - $26.29 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
