An exciting opportunity for a result driven, team-oriented Assistant Operations Manager in Arkansas City, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliances, cost, safety, and

customer satisfaction

• Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long-range goals and objectives for business growth

• Responsible for working in a safe manner, adhering to all policies and procedures that support Safety, Food Safety, Quality and

Regulatory requirements

• Manage supervisors and 50 plus employees in a multi-line, high-speed, production environment.

• Manage staffing levels to maximize department output

• Monitor, track, efficiencies providing employees with clear focus and upper management with updates on shift performance

• Facilitate continuous improvement and growth within the company

• Conduct Supervisor meetings

• Ensure timely, cost-effective manufacturing of all products

• Review’s production and operation reports

• Troubleshoots unusual or difficult issues requiring coordination and communication across departments

• Collaborates with other department managers

• Provide positive reinforcement, constructive criticism, and disciplinary actions as appropriate

Qualifications

• Associate degree (Required) Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

• 2-5 years production/operations leadership experience in the manufacturing industry (Required) Food Manufacturing experience (Highly Preferred)

• Must be knowledgeable on all Microsoft products (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $84,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
