Title: Senior Cost Accountant Duration: Contract (6 months) Location: West Houston (77024)
A leading agricultural company is looking to add a Cost Accountant to their team on a contract basis!
Focus includes-
- Planning, analyzing and collecting data to identify the cost of business activities, such as raw materials, inventory and labor
- Estimate new/proposed product costs and product changes
- Provide reports to management that specify and compare factors impacting prices and product profitability
- Perform specific projects and analyses to help management understand trends impacting the business
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 6 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing industry
- Proficient in direct cost and overhead cost calculations
- Flexible pay, DOE- $35 /hr
