System One is Hiring a Logistics Coordinator Near San Antonio, TX
Location: San Antonio, TX 78235
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Type: Contract to hire
Food Manufacturing Company is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a contract to hire basis.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate effectively daily to ensure the pickup/delivery schedule is feasible given the availability of product and staff.
- Complete pick tickets for orders in the inventory system to be most efficient & accurate while following FIFO shipping procedures on finished product.
- Tracking and fixing shipping errors
- Preparing bills and pick tickets for work orders.
- Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
- Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
- Complete the shipping process in the ERP for all work orders dispatched.
- Proper maintenance of inventory management system regarding product locations and receiving of finished products on deliveries
- Assist in keeping inventory accurate with cycle counts.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ of experience in logistics or warehouse
- Previous inventory management or ERP system experience required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Ability to respond to continually changing priorities.
