SIO Logistics is Hiring a Logistics Coordinator Near San Antonio, TX
*ON-SITE IN SAN ANTONIO*
Do you have a passion for the Logistics and Trucking industry? Are you tenacious about assisting sales reps in managing their book of business? Do you have attention to detail and impeccable negotiation skills? If so, we are looking for you!
About the role: We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator based at our San Antonio, TX office to execute first-class service to our carriers and customers.
- Learn the ins and outs of current accounts from their assigned sales reps.
- Negotiate while procuring equipment keeping in mind market trends and budget.
- Become an expert on our Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Schedule appointments and input shipment details for all related loads.
- Update internal & external portals with shipment details as needed.
- Track the progress of each shipment and communicate updates to all related parties.
- Field all customer inquiries regarding shipment status.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure accounts are being appropriately serviced.

You will bring
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Logistics experience is a plus. However, if you are truly willing to learn, we'll show you the ropes.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Tech-savvy - We will also provide complete training on the tools we use.
- A “Let's Go!” attitude. Slackers need not apply.
