Responsibilities

  • Assisting healthcare providers in the examination and treatment of patients, including prepping patients, obtaining vital signs, recording medical histories, and performing routine diagnostic tests.

  • Administering injections and medications under the direction of a healthcare provider.

  • Performing accurate and timely data entry into the electronic health records system.

  • Managing patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient rooming and care of patients.

  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure positive patient experiences.

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical area, adhering to infection control protocols.

  • Keeping updated with the latest developments in medical assisting practices and relevant legal guidelines.

  • Participating in staff meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Be proficient in the use of electronic health records systems.

  • Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure, multitask, and prioritize patient care.

  • Be a team player with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

  • 18 years old and above

  • Proof of COVID vaccination

  • Current proof of a TB test within the last 12 months
