Duties:

• Performing routine EKG's, Holter Monitor and Stress Tests with proficiency.
• Interacting with patients to explain procedures, allay fears and gather relevant information.
• Ensuring the safety and comfort of the patients while performing the procedures.
• Evaluating test results and reporting critical findings to the physicians promptly.
• Ensuring proper calibration and maintenance of the EKG equipment following established procedures.
• Confirming patient identification, obtaining signed consent for testing when required.
• Accurately documenting, coding, and preparing reports for all EKG procedures.
• Contributing to team efficiency by following policies and procedures.
• Participating in ongoing educational and training opportunities to keep abreast of the latest practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Willingness to undergo a background check
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
