Tasks:

  • Drawing blood specimens via venipuncture or micro-collection techniques.
  • Ensuring punctuality and efficient patient flow through prompt and courteous service.
  • Verifying patients' test requisition forms to confirm the right tests.
  • Processing, labeling, and storing specimens as per the laboratory procedures.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Updating patient records and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Organizing and coordinating the safe disposal of sharp objects to adhere to all aspects of health and safety protocols.

Criteria:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse patient base.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of patient care, procedures, medical terminology, and testing requirements.
  • Availability to work various shifts (including weekends and holidays).
  • Current CPR or BLS Certification.
  • At Least 18 years old and above
