Syracuse Surgery Center is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Syracuse, NY

```Duties```

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls, providing accurate information to patients
- Verify patient insurance information
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Handle patient inquiries and provide basic information about medical procedures and office policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

```Experience```

- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a medical office setting

- Proficiency in using office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Knowledge of front desk operations including managing phone systems and handling patient inquiries

-Basic understanding of medical billing

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
