Syracuse Haulers Waste Removal is Hiring a Customer Service/Admin Support Near Syracuse, NY

Job Summary:

Responsible for a vast range of customer service duties daily, to include but not limited to, Answering incoming calls (7 lines). Supports customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, processing and assisting customer's making payments and responding to or redirecting service complaints. 

Essential Functions:

  • Customer service: answering phones/emails. 
  • Payment processing assistance
  • Ordering, maintaining office supplies.
  • Paperwork for other departments as needed (Sales/Billing/Operations)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic computer skills that include the ability to send/receive e-mail messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet and perform basic processing, bookkeeping and/or data entry.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously.
  • Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with customers, vendors and co-workers in a professional and helpful manner, in person, via phone, or in written correspondence.
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-term goals.
  • Ability to work productively in a fast paced, stressful environment.

Equipment, Machines and Software Used:

  • This position requires the regular use of a computer, printer, copier, fax machine, telephone, scanner, calculator, adding machine, typewriter, postage meter
  • Computer Software: Microsoft Office to include Word, Outlook, Excel, Desert Micro.
