Synergy Solutions is Hiring an Assembly Technician - 2nd/3rd Shift Near Auburn, MI

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs all job duties within a job rotation.
  • Conform to the Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures and to the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety management system.
  • Must be able to use tools such as: Allen Keys, Wrenches/Screwdrivers, Calculator, air tools, material-handling equipment (for example hand cart, powered lift cart, hoist).
  • Remove component parts from bins and build parts using tooling and equipment, make standard adjustments to equipment based on quality and production requirements.
  • Perform setup and changeovers on all assignments included in the job rotation unless otherwise specified.
  • Assemble component parts into products according to standard work instructions, prepare products for processing.
  • Load production equipment on a continuous production schedule and according to standard product orientation.
  • Unload production equipment and prepare product for quality testing.
  • Perform quality tests, checks, and associated data entry. Control non-conforming product and notify Supervisor of all off-standard conditions. Make quality related adjustments to tooling and equipment per standard work instructions.
  • Pack finished product.
  • Adhere to housekeeping standards as required.
  • Maintain or exceed production and quality standards and/or requirements.
  • Assist in training other employees.
  • Other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stand for 8-12 hours as required
  • Ability to work overtime as required to meet demands of customer order
  • Some bending/twisting and reaching is required
  • Must have dexterity in finger and hands to build parts efficiently and accurately
  • Must be able to lift 6-9 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. occasionally
  • Excellent attention to detail required to maintain customer quality standards
