Description:

• Building gradient power systems (power supplies).
• Perform mechanical assembly of a medium complexity item using basic tools procedures and fasteners
• Perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning, or bending wire parts, wiring and fastening terminal connections
• Assembles and installs various electrical or electronic components where operation and sequence are specified by blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, or established operations practices
• Build to bill of materials (BOM) or assembly drawing and check document revisions in Agile
• Uses various common hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
• May operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment
• May perform solder touch-up or solder of parts as a secondary operation (non SMT).
• May operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school or equivalent plus 4 years or more of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
