Are you a compassionate and dedicated caregiver looking to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? We are seeking a loving, patient, and experienced live-in caregiver to provide exceptional care and companionship for clients living with Parkinson's or other neurological / neuromuscular disorders.
Responsibilities :
- Provide compassionate care and companionship.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Ensure timely administration of medications.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Accompany to medical appointments and outings as needed.
- Engage in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements :
- Experience in caregiving, particularly with Parkinson’s disease or similar conditions.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing spirit.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring (100 - 150lbs).
- Reliable and trustworthy with excellent references.
- Ability to provide care for at least 12 hours a day.
- Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's).
- Assisting with transportations to doctor's appointments, groceries, etc
- Must pass a background check.
- Authorized to work in the US.
