Synergy Builders interior design/ build firm is seeking a Kitchen and Bath designer with at least 5years' experience.Our firm is growing and in need of qualified and artistic designers who want to become a part of our team.To learn about our company, visit our websitehttps://www.synergyhomeremodel.com
Responsibilities:
- Review and understand client goals and preferences with Project Developer and/or Client
- Run meetings with clients in showroom to select product specifications for each project including design, colors, and finishes, etc.
- As built drawings and conceptual drawings using chief architect – A MUST!!!
- Coordinate and attend client off-site selection meetings
- Document product selection and project details using appropriate forms
- Design and layout of cabinets using computer aided programs or hand drafting
- Coordinate and submit product selections for vendor estimates & prepare information for estimating
- Participate in pre-construction meeting, controller review, contract meetings, and mid job walk throughs during production
Qualification:
- NKBA badges preferred
- Previous work experience with all phases of residential design with a focus on Kitchen & BathDesign
- A bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture
- Be a conceptual thinker with strong technical skills (design and drawing)
- Experience providing detailed construction documents
- Strong product knowledge of all interior and exterior products
- Fluency in 20/20, Chief Architect and Microsoft office
- Willing to work some evenings and Saturdays
