Building Service Worker Responsibilities:
- Set up partitions, chairs and stages
- Assist in installing light and sound equipment
- Ensure the event area remains clean and organized, free of any safety hazards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Effectively communicate to coworkers over two-way radios
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients or guests
- Previous experience in Building Service Worker or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and use of hand tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of assigned duties
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a bonus
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Physical requirements: must handle repetitive tasks such as reach, twist, stand and lift
