Synectic Solutions Inc is Hiring a Remote Proposal Manager (Remote)

Performs functions related to proposal activities to expand the company’s business base and improve profitability. Develops win themes, identifying strategic teammates and additional duties as assigned.Your key duties will be to: Participating in all aspects of proposal volume development including but not limited to writing, editing, charts, tables, graphs and production efforts from assignment and receipt of solicitation through delivery and receipt of proposal by the customer.

  • Manage all aspects of proposal volume development, including but not limited to, writing, editing, graphics, and production efforts from assignment and receipt of solicitations through delivery and receipt of proposal by the customer.
  • Analyze various types of solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.) and create detailed proposal plans, schedule outline, and compliance matrix for assigned pursuits.
  • Interface with internal departments and teaming partners throughout the capture and solicitation process to coordinate strategies, approaches, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate proposal-related strategy sessions, including SWOTs, Black Hats, Win Themes, Strategy Sessions, etc.
  • Maintain proposal knowledge base, capture lessons learned, and implement improvements to the proposal process, templates, and content.
  • Responsibilities may include managing, tasking, and overseeing consultants and/or teaming partners.
  • Provide detailed guidance to proposal writers/contributors, including subcontractors, to manage writing assignments and receipt of all proposal materials with authors and teaming partners in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Provide general editing of written material, writing new material or rewriting historical material, proofreading, and performing quality check of proposals while meeting tight deadline constraints.
  • Ensure all proposals are in compliance with Section L and M, or similar instructions/evaluations, and monitor the solicitation postings to stay current with amendments and Q&As.
  • Distribute any updated documents and Q&As to all teaming partners.
  • Ensure 100% on-time delivery of compliant proposals on all assigned opportunities.
  • Assist with all pre-proposal preparation and capture activities, including research into current contract efforts utilizing resources such as FPDS-NG, FOIA Requests, and GovWin.
Required Qualifications:Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of relevant professional experience of Government Contracts experience in Proposal Management or in a Solutions Developer role
  • Proposal experience on a variety of competitive opportunities including a relevant mix of program types, complexities, products, technologies, and customers
  • Experience in hands-on responsibility managing capture portfolios, including multiple efforts at any given time in a cleared environment with DoD customers, Navy customers preferred
  • Familiarity with all proposal aspects, including pricing strategy development
  • Strong organizational management skills and attention to detail
  • Team player and team builder
  • Self-starter; highly organized
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment with all levels of the organization, up to and including senior management
  • Flexible to work a schedule which may include evenings and weekends, as required during proposal writing
  • Have management skills to direct and orchestrate proposal team efforts
  • Ability to conceptualize and write and/or edit compelling proposal narrative
  • Capable to generate briefing and presentation materials/slides from scratch
  • Effective at presentation delivery, effective oral communication skills
  • Function effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Work with little direction and handle multiple tasks
  • Proven proposal leadership skills on multiple competitive proposals
  • Have a working knowledge of MS Office business applications and experience working with Virtual Proposal Center, SharePoint, or other proposal management tools

U.S. Citizenship and must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance required for hire, and to be maintained throughout employment.
