Software Systems Engineer, Senior: REMOTE POSITION

Syndetix is seeking a creative and talented Software Systems Engineer, Senior to join our high-performing growth team.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 

Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. May also design network and computer security measures. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

• Performed research, design, and development of computer and network software systems or specialized utility programs.
• Experience analyzing user needs and development of software system solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Be capable of updating software systems design artifacts or enhancing existing software system capabilities. 
• May work with software systems developers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements. 
• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software systems or specialized utility program. 
• Analyze user needs and develop software systems solutions.
• Design software or customize software for customer use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. 
• Familiar with the utilization of advanced methods, theories to design, code, and document software system programs and prepare, maintain, test, and evaluate system programs for small to large-scale computers and associated.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field such as software engineering and 8 years’ experience.

 GENERAL INFORMATION:

This position requires a S/Top Secret (TS)/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)Clearance. To obtain a clearance, the candidate will need to be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
