Syndeo Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for construction laborers for a local residential and commercial business. Due to the nature and travel requirement work schedules will vary based on staffing and operational needs. There are no guaranteed shifts, days, or hours each week and employees are expected to fulfill these scheduling requirements and demonstrate flexibility to accommodate business needs. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (in town/Wichita)

Pay: $16-$26/hour BOE

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform numerous tasks required to complete interior remodel of commercial properties.
• Travel as needed. Typically for 3-4 week projects in the Midwest region. (Returning on weekends)
• Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies. Responsible for keeping tools, materials, equipment, and work area clean.
• Grind, sand, or polish surfaces such as concrete using abrasive tools or machines.
• Assist other crew members with various tasks as needed.
• Other miscellaneous duties as directed by the jobsite supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

• Able to work productively in a team environment and follow directions given by jobsite supervisors.
• Valid drivers license/clean driving record.
• Able to work safely according to Company policy and OSHA standards.
• Able to stoop, kneel, balance and crawl frequently, with the ability to lift 25-75 lbs. occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to read a tape measurer (required)
• Ability to read and follow blueprints (preferred)
• Experience with tiling, painting, millwork installation.
