Role Summary/Purpose:

The AVP, CD & Sales Governance Issue Manager is responsible for the management of issues aligned to CD & Sales L3 (Level 3) Processes in cooperation with the broader CD & Sales Issue Management team. This includes managing issues wing-to-wing from time of identification, identifying the applicable teams across the Synchrony Client ecosystem, managing the remediation process, documenting appropriately, and collecting evidence to close action items.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple issues of various complexities from intake to closure.

  • Manage CD & Sales Potential Issues intake process and perform meeting facilitator tasks (e.g., compiling agenda, validating attendees, completing intake workflow, and providing meeting notes).

  • Draft Issues for appropriate systems, including, but not limited to eGRC, Remediation Workflow, and leadership communications.

  • Identify all relevant parties and facilitate meetings to ensure remediation guidelines are leveraged and remediations occur promptly for closure.

  • Work cross-functionally to obtain necessary data/information to document and manage remediations.

  • Support Issues Leader with requests from 2nd line and 3rd line with potential escalations.

  • Identify trending issues and support control awareness across the Enterprise.

  • Adhere to all Issue Coordinator requirements as listed in RM.27 Issue Management Procedure.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2 years Project management experience

  • 2 years' experience communicating across all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to challenge others way of thinking.

  • Keen sense of curiosity

  • Effective communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite; PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Excellent time management skills, ability to meet due dates and timelines.

  • Inform your manager or HRM before applying for any role in Workday.

  • Must not be any corrective action plan (First Formal/Final Formal, PIP)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge and/or experience with CD/Sales processes

Grade/Level: 11

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
