Job Description:
Role summary/purpose:
As the VP, Program Manager, Generative AI, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Generative AI strategic initiative. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define, plan, and execute AI projects that align with the enterprise AI strategy. You will also oversee the evaluation and deployment of AI capabilities, such as generative models, natural language processing, computer vision, and machine learning. You will ensure that the AI solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.

Essential responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of AI solutions across various domains and functions
Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards for AI development and deployment
Develop and deliver program management steering committee communications, metrics, and other relevant information to demonstrate program benefits and performance
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and research institutions to leverage best practices and emerging technologies in generative AI
Provide leadership on program intake for use case prioritization and delivery
Coach and mentor the AI team members and foster their professional growth and development
Define and execute the vision and roadmap for generative AI solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals and customer needs
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of generative AI projects, from ideation to deployment, ensuring quality, timeliness, and scalability
Establish and oversee the governance, standards, and best practices for generative AI development and deployment, ensuring alignment with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand the business problems and identify the opportunities and challenges for generative AI solutions
Lead and facilitate the ideation, prototyping, testing, and validation of generative AI solutions, leveraging user feedback and data-driven insights
Evaluate and benchmark the performance and impact of generative AI solutions, using relevant metrics and indicators, and provide recommendations for improvement and optimization
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years’ experience working in technology program management integration (or in lieu of a degree 10 years)
5 years in leadership or matrix leader roles in financial management organization
5 year experience in Project Management with both Agile, and traditional software project management approaches
Have experience leading project teams in a matrix environment
Familiarity with leading automation tools and or Virtual Assistant and Engagement Models
Experience influencing internal and external decision-makers.
Desired Characteristics:
Prior AI , Virtual Assistant, or Emerging Technologies e.g. Robotic Process Automation, Optical Character Recognition, Natural Language Processing, or Advanced Machine Learning
Hands-on experience in the proactive, passionate improvement of digital processes and practices to optimize business value delivery.
Ability to balance real world approach with Agile philosophy
Ability to expertly remove obstacles for the team or direct obstacles to appropriate owners for resolution quickly
Comfortable working with and influencing a wide range of roles and levels
Ability to manage multiple of tasks and associate with matrixed teams in parallel is helpful
Self-starter with ability to accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion, to work as individual contributor, mentor junior level staff, and to contribute as part of a larger team.
Grade/Level: 12
The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
