SCOPE

The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall management, upkeep, and development of the overall clinical efforts. This includes but is not limited to partnering with other leaders, maintaining knowledge of best practices, implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to maintain the highest quality of care, and developing therapists and clinic staff to meet SPT's mission.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the training and development of new staff
  • Responds to clinical operations inquiries
  • Supports SLP team with clinical or EMR inquiries and functions regarding clinical documentation
  • Leads and plans meetings with all lead SLP therapists
  • Maintains and updates clinical content, processes, and training in Trainual.
  • Informs team about new best practices in accordance with latest research and applies changes to assessments as needed
  • Develops training material as needed
  • Identifies clinical areas of need/development and contributes to the development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Trains and develops administrative staff on industry, procedures, and communication with parents
  • Coordinates and/or shares CEUs/training/in-services as required/desired to maintain consistent quality of care
  • Promotes clinical services and additional avenues of growth through outreach and marketing as needed
  • Partners with the Marketing team to review social media posts
  • Practices ongoing quality assurance by reviewing notes from new therapists, reports that go MD review, and insurance requirements for reports/documentation.
  • Supports/conducts clinical SLP interviews and trains/mentors Lead SLPs to independently interview SLPs at the respective clinic location

SCHEDULE AND HOURS:

  • This role requires 16 hours of dedication per week.
  • Days and hours designated can be coordinated around your time treating.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • $3125 per month for 16 hours a week your income based on visits
  • Set amount of upfront PTO per year PTO earned by visits (PTO Program)
  • Major holidays off - 10 days
