- Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Medical Director, the MRI Technologist is responsible for performing duties directly involving a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing MRI procedures. Procedures performed require independent judgment and initiative as well as a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety.
- EDUCATION:
- Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology required.

- EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS:
- Previous experience in MRI in a hospital setting

- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S):
- ARRT Registry required
- MRI Registry required
- Certified in CPR
- Venipuncture Certification required, can be obtained within 3 months of hire.
